Job Description

The Supply Planner will help manage our supply chain operations. In this role, the supply planner will coordinate with our demand planning and procurement teams to optimize inventory and customer fill rates and. The supply planner will develop and execute our supply plan, determining priorities and implementing strategies to reduce out-of-stock and over-stock issues. 

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or logistics as well as data modeling and materials planning experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a long-term supply plan, taking into consideration the needs forecasted by our demand planning team
  • Monitor monthly and weekly supply plans, prioritizing certain purchase orders
  • Track inventory levels at our distribution centers and allocate product as needed
  • Monitor movement of materials through purchasing, storage, and distribution
  • Set preferred stock levels and prevent excess inventory

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (master’s degree a plus)
  • 2+ years' of experience in supply chain planning
  • Experience in supply chain planning, or logistics
  • Data modeling and analysis experience
  • Materials planning experience
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • JDA/Blue Yonder experience preferred
  • APICS or other forecasting Certification preferred
  • Experienced with other software packages including Windows, and Microsoft Office. This position requires strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the supply chain planning process. Good facilitation skills are required.
