We have several opportunities within the Flowserve Pumps Division (FPD) as we establish a robust Materials organization to execute planning, inventory controls and schedule alignment in each of our regions - Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific.  Each Regional Materials Manager will partner with the individual manufacturing sites within their region and drive performance measures at the regional level.


  • Work across the sites within assigned region to ensure proper execution of inventory processes and practices to optimize flow of materials.
  • Oversee inventory management and control, accuracy, driving inventory guidelines and procedures aligned with corporate policies.
  • Oversee the execution of production scheduling & planning to drive efficient site operations.
  • Drive process execution for excess and obsolete materials.
  • Coordinate efforts to manage past due backlog and adhere to corporate standards, prepare recover plans, overall reporting, and improvement projects.
  • Lead projects and facilitate meetings supporting inventory management.
  • Drive proper execution of stock level controls to meet production schedules within targeted goals
  • Ensure accuracy of ERP planning data elements (item masters, lead times, work centers, routings, manufacturing BOMs, safety stock, lot sizes, reorder points).
  • Provide leadership in developing and evaluating site personnel to enhance tools adoption, process adherence, expertise, and performance.
  • Participate as a key stakeholder in the SIOP process to support inventory optimization.

  • Bachelor's degree in a Manufacturing, Materials or related field
  • 7+ years in a manufacturing environment using ERP systems in a materials and/or planning roles
  • APICS certification (CPIM and/or CSCP)
  • Solid quantitative skill set and the ability to analyze and communicate with well-supported data
  • Proven track record of leading continuous improvement activities
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial measurements and goals 
  • Commercially astute and able to manage, analyze and interpret financial data
  • Experienced in ERP systems (preferably SAP)
  • Ability to manage large data sets (items, routings, BOMs, work centers) and interpret results
  • Demonstrated experience leading or active involvement in Continuous Improvement
  • Strong interpersonal relationship management
  • Ability to travel, domestic and international
  • Expertise with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • English Language proficiency
