  General Description:   Purification of various graphite shapes in reactors using chemicals and high temperature processes following established procedures.   Exemplary Duties/Responsibilities:   Involves the loading and unloading of graphite parts into reactor type processing equipment with extreme caution to prevent the possibility of breaking, shipping or cracking of the fabricated part. Operate and regulate electric furnaces and/or reactors to process materials in accordance with directions and established procedures.  Start up and shut down furnaces and/or reactors, regulate temperatures and process time cycles; perform security checks during processing cycles.  Monitor power fluctuations, water temperatures and gas flows being constantly alert for leaks of dangerous gases or chemicals.   Assist with the preparation of special racks for holding graphite parts and the fabrication of simple graphite replacement parts for processing equipment. Job Description Position Purpose: Associates in Freight/Receiving positions ensure the store is stocked and ready for business every day. They load and unload trucks, move material from the receiving area throughout the store, may operate forklifts and may perform critical functions for maintaining proper on-hands and pricing for our customers. Direct customer interaction is frequently required for some positions and excellent customer service skills are required.
